Pinehurst, N.C. - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team finished tied for 11th place at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate in Pinehurst, N.C., with a 54-hole score of 947 (314-325-308). The Falcons ended tied with St. John's. Southern Methodist won the 12-team tournament with a score of 875.
BGSU turned in a team score of 308 on the final day.
Juniors Heath Ziglar (79-78-78) and Chris Leake (75-82-78) each finished tied for 43rd place with a three-round score of 235. Junior Dan McIntyre was T-48th with a score of 237 (80-80-77), while senior Craig Pickerel (240) finished 55th and freshman Jace Walker (258) finished 63rd.
BGSU competes next weekend (April 8-9) at the Marshall Invitational in Huntington, W.V.
