BGSU Coach Dan Dakich
"My hats off to them. I thought they played a great game. They got going, Watson got hitting shots and it seemed like it one of those games where everything that was going to go bad was going to go bad whether it was missing free throws, whether it was missing layups, whether it was them throwing in a three...it just seemed that way to me. Like I said, my hats off to them. They did a super job and just beat us."
"They were running offense. They got comfortable. They didn't get comfortable in the first half but they got comfortable in the second half. We didn't have any pressure on the ball. I don't think we were lax, I think we started jumping back and doing things that we've done in other games where we've given up a bunch of points."
"We never got a handle on them in the second half. When we needed a stop, we couldn't get one."
"The two biggest shots were probably the two shots they hit to get it back to four, those were huge. That makes it a game again whereas we've run out. We had a couple open looks on three's late that we missed and there is your ballgame."
"The game was really decided when we gave up 42 points in the second half."
losing on senior day...
"There is no excuse for losing this game in terms of these three kids and what they've meant to our program, there is no excuse, none. I just feel horrible because I feel like we should've been able to play better than we did and we just didn't. I love these three kids so much that I just feel horrible. We'll get another chance in here Monday, but it is an incredible disappointment to me that we played that way for those guys..."
