Several Falcons Impress At EMU

Ypsilanti, Michigan - The Bowling Green State University track and field squad sent several competitors to Ypsilant, Michigan over the weekend, as they tune-up for the Drake Relays on April 28-30. Several Falcons came away with some impressive numbers.
Senior Elise Gould and sophomore Andrea Pollack finished fifth and eighth in the 5,000 meters with times of 18:02.72 and 18:19.75.
The BGSU relay squad finished fourth in the 4x100 with a time of 47.29.
Sophomore Veronica Vance finished third the triple jump (38-03.50).
With a toss of 127-03, Andrean Bunko finished third in the javelin.
In the final event of the day, senior Kerri McClung captured the shot put crown with a toss of 47-05.75.
Up next for the Falcons will be a trip to Des Moines, Iowa, for the Drake Relays from April 28-30.
