Falcons Finish 9th at Illini Spring Classic

Champaign, Illinois - The Bowling Green women's golf team completed the two-day Illini Spring Classic in ninth place with a 36-hole score of 672 (336-336). Host Illinois won the 11-team event with a score of 616 at Stone Creek Golf Course.

Freshman Jessica McCann finished tied for 16th place with a two-round score of 160 (81-79), while sophomore Kari Liggett finished tied for 26th with a score of 164 (82-82).

Amanda Bader finished 52nd with a score of 173 (87-86), Carley Hrusovsky finished 53rd with a score of 176 (86-90), and Amanda Schroeder was 56th with a score of 180 (91-89).

BGSU next competes in the Lady Buckeye Invitational next weekend, April 16-17, in Columbus, Ohio.
