Horn Named Assistant A.D. For Marketing/Corporate Relations

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University Director of Athletics Paul Krebs has announced that Jason Horn has been named Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Corporate Relations. Horn comes to BGSU after serving as assistant general manager for the New Haven County (Conn.) Cutters since 2004.
"Jason will bring a wealth of experience to the position and we are excited about him coming to BGSU," said Krebs. "Our profile has never been higher and we need someone to aggressively foster relationships in the corporate community that will be mutually beneficial."
Horn, a native of Detroit, was Director of Marketing and Corporate Relations for the Mobile Revelers of the NBA Development League during the 2001-2002 season. He also was a Sales and Marketing Manager for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games from 1999-2001 in Salt Lake City.
"I think it is an incredible opportunity," said Horn. "It's a great time to be involved with the BGSU athletic program and I am anxious to lend my experience in the hopes of increasing our fan base and corporate partnerships."
On the collegiate level, Horn was the Director of Marketing and Promotions for Conference USA from 1997-99 and was an event and ticket sales assistant at the University of Miami (Fla.) from 1993-95. He also worked as an account executive for the Detroit Pistons and was a ticket and sales manager for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta.
A 1991 graduate of Michigan, Horn was an operations assistant for the Wolverine basketball program from 1990-93.
