Jamie Roflow Named Co-Runner of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Oh. - The Mid American Conference announced sophomore Jamie Roflow and Akron's Beata Rudzinska as co-runners of the week.

This is the second week in a row in which Roflow was awarding this honor.

Roflow took home the individual crown at Saturday's Mel Brodt Cross Country Invitational. She was first put of 83 runners in the field. Her time of 17:31 broke her previous personal-best time of 17:56, which she ran the week before against Toledo. Roflow led the entire race and out ran her nearest competitor, teammate Stephanie Hillman by 30 seconds.

Roflow and the Falcons return to action on Saturday September 24th, as they head to Palo Alto, California, to compete in the annual Stanford Invitational held at Stanford University.
