Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University men's basketball coach Dan Dakich has announced that Nate Miller, a 6-4, 225-lb guard from Springfield, Ohio has enrolled at BGSU and will be eligible for the Falcons following the first semester next season.
Miller, a 2005 graduate of Springfield South High School, comes to BGSU from UNC-Wilmington where he appeared in nine games and averaged 2.0 points and 2.3 rebounds. As a prep, he averaged 19.7 points, 12.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game as a senior. He scored more than 1,300 points in his career and was a third-team All-Ohio pick last year. He was a three-time All-Greater Western Ohio choice and District 9 Player of the Year. He also was the MVP of the Dayton vs. Columbus Area All-Star game.
"Nate is a player who we were very interested in coming out of high school and we are excited to have him at BGSU," said Dakich. "He is strong built and can play different spots and is a player who physically will remind people of Anthony Stacey. Because of his strength and toughness he can play inside as well and cause matchup problems."
