Falcons Sweep Cross Country Runners of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio -

The Mid-American Conference has just announced that both Jamie Roflow and Eddie Kipchoge have been named MAC Runners of the Week. Roflow and Kipchoge earned the honor after capturing the All-Ohio Championships on Friday.

Kipchoge, a native of Eldoret, Kenya earned the All-Ohio title with a first-place time of 25:30. The freshman surpassed the other 67 runners in the field to become the Falcons first top finisher at the All-Ohio since 1982.

Roflow, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio snapped an 11-year streak capturing the All-Ohio Championship with a time of 18:24. The last time a Falcon won the women's All-Ohio crown came back in 1995.
