Zaumeyer and Lesseuer Make Strides in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Bowling Green sent two Falcons to the Jesse Owens Invitational this weekend, competing against Mid-American and Big Ten competition. The duo raced in the 5000-meter, with Owen Zaumeyer setting a new personal best.
Zaumeyer finished 21st in a field of 47. His 14:45.63 race broke his former personal record by over seven seconds. Luke Lesseuer also competed and finished at 15:00.88.
This meet concludes the BGSU men's outdoor track season and the team will return in the fall for cross country.
