Seven Falcons Earn Scholastic Academic All-American Honors

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women named seven Bowling Green State University Gymnasts 2006 Scholastic All-Americans. Senior Jessica Guyer, sophomore Marissa Saneholtz, and sophomore Jayme Stambaugh all had a grade point averages or cumulative grade point averages of 4.0. While junior Karly Yohe had a 3.89 followed by senior Jessica Bradley (3.74), junior Erin Coudriet (3.60), and sophomore Jholeen Ponce (3.59).
Guyer is a three-time winner of this award after winning it in 2004 and 2005. Saneholtz, Stambaugh, Bradley, Coudriet, and Yohe all won the award in 2005.
To qualify as an Scholastic All-American, a student-athlete must have a current year or cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better.
A total of 406 student-athletes representing 65 schools were named Scholastic All-Americans.
