Falcons Escape With 79-78 Victory At Marshall

Huntington, W.V. - Bowling Green used a 16-0 run midway through the second half to pull away and then held on in the final seconds as BGSU defeated Marshall, 79-78, in Huntington on Friday night.
Senior Martin Samarco led the Falcons with 24 points, but sophomore Nate Miller finished with 18, including 16 in the second half.
Junior Ryne Hamblet made a free throw with 30 seconds left to give BGSU a 79-75 lead. After a three-pointer by Marshall, BGSU turned the ball over and MU's Mark Dorris missed a 12-footer at the buzzer.
BGSU is 7-3 and will play Michigan Tech on the 27th at the UWGB Tournament in Green Bay.
