Falcons Remain Undefeated At Home

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green (4-4) extended their win streak at Shadow Valley Tennis and Fitness Center to three with their 6-1 victory over visiting Wright State University (3-5). Once again the Falcons took the doubles point with triple wins.
"The match was tighter than 6-1," said coach Penny Dean. The doubles were a lot tighter than they appeared. Everything was close this match."
Six Falcons posted victories in two sets, while Jenna Nussbaum and Heidi Romer were pushed to the tie-breaker. Romer posted a win over Audra Beckett in the No. 3 flight, 6-3,7-5,1-0 (3). Nussbaum fell to Jessica Lee, 6-0,4-6, 1-0 (6), at the No. 2 slot.
The Falcons will split time on the road and at home in the up coming weekend. BGSU will travel to Xavier University to meet the Musketeers in Cincinnati on Saturday before returning to Shadow Valley to face Illinois-Chicago.
