Tennis Picks Up Win Over Bulldogs

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Falcon tennis camp (2-3) picked up their second win of the 2006 season in a narrow 4-3 victory over Butler University (0-3) in the Butler Tennis Bubble. The doubles wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 flights proved to be the deciding factor.
Senior Heidi Romer and freshmen Kelsey Jakupcin and Stefanie Menoff picked up wins in the singles flights as the Falcons split the decision 3-3. Jenna Nussbaum and Andrea Meister pushed their matches to three sets before falling to the Bulldogs.
Romer and Jakupcin combined for their first win at the No. 2 position. To date, the pair had found success as the No. 3 combination. Erica Wolfe and Stefanie Menoff sealed the win with their 8-3 victory.
The Falcons will meet the DePaul Blue Demons in the Tennis Bubble Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m.
