INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - In their first battle against nationally ranked players, BGSU (2-4) fell to the Blue Demons of DePaul University. The 7-0 loss was the third match in as many days for the Falcons as they spent the weekend in the Butler Tennis Bubble.
Junior Ashley Jakupcin faced No. 70 Beatrix Csordas while sophomore Jenna Nussbaum was up against No. 85 Gergana Ganeva. Both Falcons fell in two sets.
The Orange and Brown will return to Shadow Valley Tennis and Fitness Center Saturday to host Bradley and Sunday to host Wright State.
