Falcons Capture The St. George Invitational Title

ST GEORGE, Utah - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team finished with a two-day score of 645 (329-316) en route to a first-place finish at the St. George Invitational in St. George, Utah. The Falcons, who posted two of the top three team scores in the tournament, finished seven strokes better then second-place Grand Valley State.
BGSU placed three golfers in the top seven and were led by Amanda Bader (78-79-153) who finished third in the tournament, just two strokes behind the leader. Kari Liggett was not far behind with her 83-78-161 for a sixth-place finish and Carley Hrusovsky finished seventh with a 85-77-162.
Also competing for the Falcons were Amanda Schroeder (169, T-14th), Jessica McCann (170, 16th) and Lindsey Jonkhoff (174, T-21st). There were a total of 41 golfers in the competition.
Up next for the Orange and Brown will be the Illinois Invitational set for April 14.
