BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - For the fifth time in the spring season, the Falcons (11-4) held an opponent scoreless in their 7-0 defeat over Ferris State University (0-1).
After a close No. 1 singles flight between Ashley Jakupcin and Leila Salek, the Falcons handed FSU four singles losses and picked up the No. 6 win by default.
In doubles play, the Flacons spilt the first and second flights, yet won the point due to Andrea Meister and Andrea Volle's default win.
In non-conference play, the Falcons were undefeated at home (6-0) and were 5-4 on the road.
Mid-American Conference play will begin Friday when the Akron Zips and Saturday as the Buffalo Bulls visit the Keefe Courts. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
