The Bowling Green State University women's golf team finished their first tournament of the spring with a three round score of 974 (322-329-323), placing them 17th at the fourth annual Rio Verde Intercollegiate.
For the third consecutive day Carley Hrusovsky led the Falcons, posting a final round score of 80. Combined with her 77-78 the first two days she shot a 235, for a 35th place finish. Amanda Bader had her third solid performance, posting a total score of 245 (80-82-83), good enough for a 74th place tie. Amanda Schroeder saved her best for last, posting a final round score of 80, to go along with an 84-88 the first two days. Her total score of 252 placed her in a tie for 96th. Kari Liggett (86-94-80-260, T-101) and Lindsey Jonkhoff (86-85-90-261, 103rd) round out the top five for the Orange and Brown.
Up next for BGSU is a trip to St. George, Utah for the St. George Invitational. That two day event begins March 8.
