YPSILANTI, Mich. - The sister/teammate duo of Ashley and Kelsey Jakupcin put the Falcons on the board with their wins at the No. 1 and No. 5 singles flight, but the Orange and Brown (13-9, 2-5) could not overcome the pressure from the Eastern Michigan Eagles (9-9, 4-4) at their home court.
The win was K. Jakupcin's 16th of the season while A. Jakupcin picked up her 11th.
Four of the six singles matches advanced to the third set, with the Falcons falling at the No. 2-No. 4 slots.
The Falcons will host their final MAC contest of the season when the Northern Illinois Huskies (4-16, 0-6) come to Bowling Green on Friday.
