Track Represents Falcons Well at Kansas Relays

Lawrence, Kan. - The women's track team took home some valuable lessons after visiting Lawrence, Kansas for the 79th Annual Kansas Relays. They continued upon their ways, improving each week.
The highlight of the weekend was the win from the 4x880-yard relay team of Angela Raizis, Kim Settle, Lyndi Springer and Lacey Cochran with a time of 9:34.28.
The 4 x mile relay team of Jamie Roflow, Kim Settle, Stephanie Hillman and Bridget Dalic finished third with a time of 21:04.58.
The Falcons received a sixth place finish from Nicole Standback in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.27 seconds.
Jamie Roflow finished second in the unseeded 1500-meter run with a time of 4:40.03.
A seventh place finish came in the 1600-meter sprint relay with a time of 4:12.00 (Raizis, Springer, Standback, Lacey Cochran)
Erica Wilson tied for seventh in the high jump at 5-05.00.
In the field events, Whitney Hartman had an impressive throw in the discus, with a toss of 149-00.00, a new personal best. Hartman also threw a new personal-best in the hammer throw, 176-07.00, topping the throw she set at All-Ohio's two weekends ago. She finished ninth in the event.
The Falcons return to action next weekend as they travel to Hillsdale, Michigan to compete in the Hillsdale Relays.
