The top performance on Saturday morning was junior Kari Liggett. The Canton, Ohio, native posted a 77, one stroke better then last year's 78. Her 77 was also one stroke shy of her career-best, when she scored a 76 at the Youngstown Invitational in the opening tournament this season.
Also of note, senior Amanda Schroeder carded a 79 on Saturday for her best performance of her Falcon career.
After 54 holes of play the Falcons are led by sophomore Jessica McCann (239, T-26th). She is followed by Carley Hrusovsky (240, T-28th), Amanda Schroeder (246, 36th), Kari Liggett (247, T-37th) and Amanda Bader (247, T-37th).
The final 18 holes of the championships begin at 8:00 a.m. at Walden Ponds Golf Club.
Individual notes:
- Jessica McCann leads the entire field in Par-3 scoring with a 3.00 scoring average through 54 holes. Not far behind is Amanda Bader, who ranks eighth with an average of 3.25.
