Ziglar Named To Second-Team All-MAC

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Senior Heath Ziglar was named to the Mid-American Conference Second-Team for his efforts this past season. On the year the Orlando, Florida native averaged 73.76 strokes per round, which ranked eighth in the conference.
Ziglar's MAC Championship Scorecard
At the MAC Championships Ziglar opened with a disappointing 77 (40-37), but bounced back that same day by firing a 74 (37-37). On Friday Ziglar carded a 1-under 71 (37-34), a round that included five birdies, but the best was yet to come.
Competing in his final collegiate round with the Falcons, the senior fired a 69 (35-34), the second-best round among the 45 golfers in the Championship. His final round included six birdies and just three bogies.
Other Ziglar accomplishments this season include a 213 (71-70-72) at the First Energy Intercollegiate. It was the second time this season where he recorded three straight rounds of par or better in the same tournament. On the year he has posted nine rounds under par.
