Following a 1.5 hour rain delay and several other showers moving in, the third and final round of the CSU Invitational has been canceled.
Day-One Recap
The Bowling Green State University men's golf team shot a day-one score of 625 (316-309) at the Cleveland State Invitational on Monday. Three Falcons are in the top-27 among the 56 golfers.
The Falcons were led by Jace Walker and Trevor Spathelf. Walker, the top Falcon returnee shot a 156 (76-80), while Spathelf (80-76) tied his classmate and sits in a tie for 21st.
Freshman Matt Schneider began his Falcon career with a bang, firing an opening round 75, best on the team. Combined with his 83 in the second round the freshman sits in a tie for 27th.
Other competitors for the Falcons include fellow freshman Andrew Ladwig (85-76, T-35th) and Brad Dearsman (87-77, T-40th).
The third and final round begins at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
