BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Orange and Brown (1-4-1) will kick-off their first mid-week contest in Columbus against the Ohio State Buckeyes (1-3-2) on Thursday evening...the match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. at Jesses Owens Memorial Stadium...Sunday, the Falcons will host their first of three home matches...Wright State (4-2-0) will visit Cochrane Field at 2:00 p.m ...live statistics will be available for each of the matches via the gametracker link on www.bgsufalcons.com.

•Freshman Ahmad Smith is the youngest of three athletes to rank among the top scorers in the MAC...Smith is tied with Andre Clarke (SR, UB) and Marcus McCarty (R-JR, NIU) with three goals in the 2006 season...Smith and Clarke lead the MAC with a .60 goals per game average...Smith is also one of nine athletes with a game wining goal...after making his first start of the season, Brent Petkus ranks second among MAC goal keepers averaging 7.00 saves per game...strikers Justin Kim and Ryan Perea each average two shots per game; the rank fourth among all MAC athletes...George Davis' 1.83 average ties a sixth ranking.

Hepple to Play with Bahamian National Team
•Red-shirt freshman Cameron Hepple was chosen as a member of the Bahamian National team and will compete in the second round of the CONCACAF Gold Cup Tournament...Hepple and the Bahamian team went 2-1 in the first round of tournament play...the Bahamians beat both the Turks and Cacios National team 3-2 and the Cayman Island National team 3-1...the only loss came at the hands of Cuba, 6-0...the second round is expected to begin in November at a destination which is yet to be determined.
