Spartans and Purple Aces Visit BGSU For Two Game Homestand

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Michigan State invades Bowling Green on Wednesday afternoon for the first mid-week match-up to be held at Mickey Cochrane Stadium...the afternoon kick-off is set for 4:00 p.m...Sunday, the Purple Aces of Evansville University will give the Falcons their last non-conference look prior to Mid-American Conference play...the match will be the first of a men's and women's double header.

• Sunday's home match will be the second of three consecutive matches in Bowling Green, Ohio...head coach Fred Thompson's Falcons hosted Wright State (L 4-1) on Sept. 17...Michigan State (9/20) and Evansville University (9/24) have yet to challenge the Falcons...the Orange and Brown are 1-2-0 at home this season.

• The Ohio State University took the win over the visiting Falcons in Columbus on Thursday night...BGSU was upended 2-0 at Jesse Owens Stadium...Saturday's match against Wright State ended in a 4-1 loss...Mark Scholz made his collegiate debut in the second half and recorded a career high eight saves...Justin Kim recorded the Falcons goal while George Davis IV assisted on the effort.
