BGSU and Ohio will meet for the 58th time this Saturday in Peden Stadium. The Falcons lead the series 34-21-2 and have won the last four meetings. The Falcons defeated the Bobcats 38-14 last year in Bowling Green. BGSU won in Athens, 17-0 in 2001 and 41-16 in 2004.
The Falcons lead the MAC in first downs (85) and third down conversions (47.6) and are second in rushing offense (223.2), total offense (389.0) and pass defense (137.0). BGSU is third in the league in overall defense (313.2). The Falcons rushing total is 11th nationally among Division IA programs.
Redshirt freshman quarterback Freddie Barnes is the third-best rushing quarterback in the country (88.0) and is 17th in the country in scoring (9.0). Senior linebacker Terrel White is the MAC leader in tackles and is sixth nationally with 11.3 stops per game.
The Falcons were 4-0 on the road last season in the MAC and have also won their last four overall road games dating back to last year. BGSU won at Florida International, 33-28, on September 16.
True freshman Tyler Sheehan made his Falcon debut at quarterback in relief of Barnes. He completed 8 of 14 passes for 64 yards. The Cincinnati LaSalle product is the first true freshman to play under center for the Falcons since Josh Harris started against Toledo in 2000.
Redshirt freshman running back Chris Bullock became the fourth Falcon to rush for more than 90 yards in a game this season for the Falcons. Bullock had 99 yards on 17 carries against Kent State. Barnes had 158 yards rushing against Wisconsin, sophomore quarterback Anthony Turner had 127 yards rushing against Buffalo and junior running back Dan Macon had 97 yards against the Bulls.

The Falcons boast one of the youngest teams in the country having played 25 true or redshirt freshmen. Fifteen players have made their first career start this season.
BGSU's .703 winning percentage since 2001 (45-19) is the best among all MAC schools since the 2001 season.
