Varsity BG Club Letter-Winners Announced!

BOWLING GREEN, OHIO - The Varsity BG Club, which has a membership of over 600 former BGSU letter-winners, will recognize three people as part of this year's Varsity BG Club Letter Winners Weekend.
Our first recipient is our GOLD LETTER WINNER - Larry Miles.
Larry lettered on the men's basketball team under legendary coach Harold Anderson and graduated from BGSU in 1956. He is a retired Human Resource Manager with Marathon Oil in Findlay. Larry has been a long time supporter of Falcon Athletics and he and his wife JoAnn have been Falcon Club members for 30 years. Congratulations Larry.
Our SILVER LETTER WINNER is - Michael Miller
Michael lettered in men's tennis while at BGSU under legendary coach Bob Keefe and graduated in 1969. He is still active in the Northwest Ohio Tennis Association and still plays competitive doubles w/ former BG letter winner Ted Norris. Michael is now President of Sulphur Springs Realty and Development and is a big supporter of BGSU Athletics through the Falcon Club and other projects. Congratulations Michael.
Our HONORARY LETTER WINNER is Dr. Rick Barker
Dr. Barker is a Bowling Green native and graduated from BGSU in 1969. He has held numerous positions on medical boards and societies, including chief-of-staff at Wood County Hospital. He has been the chief physician and orthopaedic consultant for the entire athletic program since 1978 and has treated or consulted hundreds of student-athletes over the years. He and his wife, Holly, have been Falcon Club members for 29 years and are an invaluable part of the Falcon Athletic Family. Thank you Dr. Rick Barker.
