BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University hockey team and head coach Scott Paluch will hold their annual Falcon "Face-off" this Saturday evening, Oct. 6 from 4-6 p.m. inside the BGSU Ice Arena. The event features an intra-squad game (Orange vs. White) that will consist of two 20-minute halves and will feature a skills competition during the intermission.
The skills competition will feature a fastest skater competition and shootout where goals will be awarded to the winning teams for each event. Last season, junior forward Brandon Svendson won the fastest skater competition, defeating sophomore forward Tommy Dee in the finals, as he'll look to defend his crown on Saturday.
Prior to the start of the game, rosters and posters will be available to the public free of charge. You can print off the team rosters by clicking here.
Following the game then, players and coaches will be available in the south end of the arena where fans will have the opportunity to collect team autographs.
Take this opportunity to meet the BGSU Falcon hockey team before they start their 2007-08 campaign!
The Falcons will kick-off their season with an exhibition game when they host the University of Windsor on Fri., Oct. 12 at 7:05 p.m., before they open the season at Niagara on Thurs., Oct. 18, also with a 7:05 p.m. face-off time.
