Falcon Senior Jamie Roflow Finishes Second At Tiffin Open As An Unattached Runner

Tiffin, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's and women's cross country had select runners take part in the Tiffin Open Friday evening in Tiffin, Ohio. The event was run on a short 5K course for the men and a 3K course for the women, as a total of four runners represented the Falcons in the event.
In the women's race, BG senior Jamie Roflow (Cincinnati, Ohio) would take second place in the race, as she returned from injury to run a time of 11:15, running as an unattached runner. Coming across the line not too far back of Roflow was freshman runner Courtney Krummert (Milford, Ohio), who finished in the sixth position with a time of 11:41. Sophomore Lindsay Conway (Rochester, N.Y.) was the second competing Falcon in the race, as she finished 14th with a time of 12:12.
Former Falcon Kim Settle (Burlington, Ont.) would win the women's race with a time of 10:55, as she competed with an unattached team affiliation.
On the men's side, BGSU freshmen Michael Flores (Fremont, Ohio) and Jeff Ehler (Cincinnati, Ohio) both competed for the orange and brown, finishing 20th and 32nd respectively.
The two Falcon squads will return to action next weekend (Oct. 27) when they head to Mount Pleasant, Mich. to compete in the Mid-American Conference Championships. The race hosted by Central Michigan University will kick-off at 11 a.m.
