BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University men's basketball senior Ryne Hamblet has been declared academically ineligible and will miss the remainder of the 2007-08 season.

A native of Chicago, Ill. (Von Steuben H.S./Chipola JC), Hamblet appeared in the Falcons' first eight games this season, averaging 12.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game. The 6-5 guard played in a total of 38 games for the Falcons after coming to BGSU prior to the 2006-07 academic year.
