Recap | Final Stats | Notes
BGSU Coach Dan Dakich
"Obviously, on the last play we did not get a good shot. We didn't get the ball in and get the back-cut move for Martin. They did a good job defending Martin and we just didn't get a good shot. At the end of the day, with thirty seconds to go we turned the ball over twice. We had three turnovers in the second half and they just came at the wrong time."
"At the end of the game we thought could get a back-cut and spread them out. We popped Martin out and he wasn't able to get the ball. The next thing you know we just tossed one up there."
"We didn't come out with the energy (at the start of the game) we displayed in the second half. On our run in the second half we played with a sense of urgency and you just need to do that when you are us. You have to have a sense of urgency to play every day and we didn't.
On how BGSU made its comeback
"We spread them out, we started getting fouled and we started playing fast. We were moving the ball down the floor and we were rebounding. Then at the end of the game we didn't get a rebound. It was going to be a one-point game and you are going to have to make a play out of that. We came back from down twelve but there were too many turnovers at the end."
EMU Coach Charles Ramsey
"I give Bowling Green a lot of credit. We got up by 12 points and they battled back to put themselves in a position to win."
"We made mistakes down the stretch, but our guys just stayed positive and we moved on to the next play."
"Free throw shooting was a key today and we hit the free throws when we got to the line and we hit the ones we needed to."
"Anytime, any place, any league that you can win on the road is huge. It's monumental. We doubled our road wins from last year, we won more league games. We want to make sure we are taking this program in the right direction."
