A LOOK AT THE BULLS
Buffalo enters the series well-rested with no mid-week contests for the Bulls. After this weekend's series, Buffalo heads to Kent State to finish out the season. The Bulls went 1-2 last weekend against Miami.

BGSU USES THIRD PEDAL IN THE CLUTCH
Bowling Green used some late inning heroics en route to a 2-1, extra inning victory at Cleveland State Wednesday evening. Junior Brett Browning worked the mound for seven innings, allowing just one run on two hits while striking out six Vikings. Freshman Phil Hettlinger finished off the two-hitter by tossing three relief innings of no-hit baseball. With two outs and two strikes in the top of the ninth, Freshman Derek Spencer kept the Brown and Orange alive with a game-tying RBI-single. Sophomore Marty Baird capped off the win with an RBI-single in the top of the tenth inning.
BAIRD SMACKS THE MAC
Sophomore Marty Baird has let his name be known amongst Mid-American Conference foes this season, racking up impressive statistical totals while swinging a hot bat during conference play. The Findlay, Ohio native can be found in the MAC-only top 20 list in four different offensive categories: three triples (2nd), .578 slugging % (9th), .486 on-base % (6th), and .344 batting average (18th).
`TJ' CLOSING IN ON ALL-TIME TOP TEN
Senior Tyler Johnson has been a workhorse pitcher for the Falcons this season, manning the hill for 72.1 innings thus far. With two scheduled starts remaining, Johnson needs to pitch only 10.2 innings to crack the top ten for most innings pitched in a season in BGSU history, surpassing 2006 volunteer assistant coach Kyle Knoblauch's 82.2 IP of 2003. The Tippecanoe High School product has a realistic shot to climb as high as fourth all-time (89.2 IP) by the end of the year.
