Schneider Named MAC Golfer of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference has announced that Matt Schneider has been named MAC Golfer of the Week following his efforts at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate earlier this week, finishing 20th in the 81-person field.

In his first live action in over four months the sophomore began the tournament going 76-77. The Grand Rapids, Minn., native saved his best for last, carding a 73, the fifth-best round of the day.

On the year the sophomore is averaging 73.18 strokes a round, second-best on the team.
