MUNCIE, Ind. - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team finished 11th at the Cardinal Classic with a 36-hole score of 636 (319-317). The two-day even was hosted by Ball State, who outlasted the 13-team field with a score of 594.
The Falcons were led by a pair of sophomores in Megan Bader and Marisa Glew. Bader continued her strong fall season, finishing the 36 holes with a score of 155 (77-78), which placed her in a tie for 21st. Glew was just two strokes behind her follow classmate, carding a 157 (79-78).
Also competing for the Orange and Brown were Megan Gormley (160, T-43rd), Lauren Glew (164, T-57th) and Hannah Lambert (167, T-66th).
Freshman Paula DiFrancesco competed as an individual. She finished in a tie for 57th with a score of 164.
A total of 74 golfers competed.
