Falcons Finish Seventh at Zippy Invitational

The Bowling Green State University women's golf team fired a final round score of 332 to finish seventh in the 12-team field at the Zippy Invitational, hosted by the University of Akron. Overall the Falcons finished with a 54-hole score of 987 (326-329-332).
Like yesterday, the Falcons were once again led by the Glew sisters. Lauren finished in a tie for 10th with a 54-hole score of 238 (78-82-78), one of her top finishes of the season. Her twin sister Marisa finished in a tie for 16th with a score of 240 (78-78-84).
Also competing for the Orange and Brown were sophomore Megan Bader (87-82-82 - 251, T-31st), Megan Gormley (85-87-88 - 260, 50th), Hannah Lambert (85-87-91 - 263, T-52nd). Freshman Paula DiFrancesco finished 39th with a score of 254 (86-82-86), competing as an individual.
Up next for the Orange and Brown is the Huskie Classic on Oct. 5-6, hosted by Northern Illinois.
