Falcon Gymnastics Supports Race for the Cure
October 21, 2009 | Gymnastics
TOLEDO, Ohio The BGSU Gymnastics team traveled to Toledo to take part in the 2009 Race for the Cure benefiting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation on Sunday, September 27.
This marks the first year for participation in the event for the Orange and Brown.
“It was a special and humbling opportunity to participate in the 2009 Race for the Cure,” said Head Coach Kerrie Beach. “This event has special meaning to our team and I was overwhelmed at the sight of my athletes crossing the finish line for such a great cause. While I am proud of their accomplishments in the gym and classroom, the gymnasts' participation in this event has definitely been one of my favorite moments of the year. It was an inspiring day for all of us.“
