Falcons Grab Second At New Hampshire Tri-Meet, Four Falcons Set Career Highs

Durham, N.H. - The Bowling Green State University Gymnastics team competed in its final road meet of the season, placing second in a tri-meet against New Hampshire and George Washington University.

Four different Falcons scored career highs during this meet.

INSIDE THE SCORESHEET

The Falcons started on the bars and scored a 48.675 as a team.
Addie Tandeski matched her career high, scoring a 9.800 on the bars.
Natasha Lopez scored a 9.750 to match her career high on the bars.
BGSU scored a 47.625 on the beam for rotation two.
Madison Coburn led the Falcons with a 9.675 on the Balance Beam.
Rotation three led the Falcons to the Floor Exercise, where they scored a 48.800.
Kayla Shaw led the Falcons on the floor, scoring a 9.850.
Shaw took second overall in the Floor Exercise.
The final rotation led the Falcons to the vault, where they scored a 48.450.
Coburn led the Falcons on vault with a 9.750.
Teegan Milligan scored a career high of 9.700 on the vault.
Megan Dzialo performed in the all-around for the first time this season and scored a 38.675.

FROM THE LOCKER ROOM
"Today was a great meet for us. When traveling to new places, it's nice to get out and show our gymnastics off. Being on the road, we remain consistent with our approach at each event. Scores were a little tight, but we continued to push through, remained resilient, and focused solely on our gymnastics. Megan Dzialo stepping into the all-around spot for the first time was exciting to see for our program. We will continue to focus on the detailed work in the gym this week. I'm excited to have wrapped up our road meets and am ready to be back home on Sunday to prepare us for hosting the MAC Championships." - Gymnastics Head Coach Brittney Emmons.
