The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team, riding a five-game winning streak, faces yet another difficult road test ... the Falcons of head coach Curt Miller continue a season-long five-game road swing with Saturday's (Dec. 12) game against undefeated Saint Bonaventure University ... tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m. at the Reilly Center (5,780) ... PROCHASKA NAMED MAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Junior Lauren Prochaska was named the MAC Player of the Week on Monday (Dec. 7) ... she earned the honor for the first time this year and the sixth time in her Falcon career ... Prochaska averaged 20.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game as the Brown and Orange picked up wins over Saint Francis (Pa.) and Vanderbilt ... she shot 65 percent from the field, going 13-of-20 in the two games, and also averaged 1.5 assists, 1.5 blocked shots, 1.0 steals and 39.0 minutes per game last week.
