BGSU Basketball Games To Be Shown On Fox Sports Ohio This Weekend

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's and women's basketball games this weekend will both be broadcast live on Fox Sports Ohio. The games will not be blacked out locally and should be available to anyone with FS Ohio.
Thursday night's men's basketball game against Kent State was blacked out locally due to a programming error by Fox Sports Ohio. The game should not have been blacked out and the Bowling Green athletic department has been assured that both of the games this weekend will be carried locally on FS Ohio. The men defeated Kent State 67-66 in a heart-stopping contest in which the Falcons moved into a tie for first place atop the MAC standings.
Both the men and women currently sit in first place in the MAC standings. The women, winners of 24 in a row and ranked No. 25 in the ESPN/USA Today poll, will host Kent State Saturday at noon. A victory would clinch at least a tie for the best record in the MAC. The men have won eight of nine conference games and sit in a three-way tie atop the conference standings. The Falcons will play at Akron Sunday at noon.
