The Falcons have never met Canisius in women's basketball. BGSU has faced Syracuse one time, with SU picking up a 71-67 win (Nov. 29, 1997). That game was held in Orlando, Fla., as part of the UCF Turkey Shootout. SU went on to win that eight-team, three-day tourney with a blowout victory over host UCF in the title game. That SU coaching staff featured an up-and-coming young assistant named Curt Miller.
