Butch Komives Passes Away

Former Bowling Green men's basketball player Howard "Butch" Komives passed away Sunday at the age of 67. Komives played for the Falcons from 1961-64, was drafted in the second round by the New York Knicks, and played 10 seasons in the NBA.
He ranks as Bowling Green's third all-time scorer and led the country with 36.7 points per game in his senior season. His named is littered throughout BGSU's record book and he is the school's all-time leader in points in a season, scoring average in a season and career scoring average.
