The BGSU Men's & Women's Basketball teams are both celebrating MAC Regular Season Championships as they head to Quicken Loans Arena in Downtown Cleveland in the coming week for the 2009 MAC Basketball Tournament! As always, the only way to $AVE on walk-up prices at The Q and secure seats in the BG Fan Sections is to reserve your tickets in advance through the BGSU Athletic Ticket Office. Call 877-BGSU TICKET (M-F, 9am-5pm) or click BGSUFALCONS.COM. Men's Session tickets are available for ONLY $20 (vs. $49 walk-up at The Q) and Women's Session tickets are available for ONLY $10 (vs. $12 walk-up at The Q).
Not looking to make the drive to-and-from Cleveland or deal with downtown parking? NO PROBLEM! The Falcon Club will once again be providing roundtrip bus transportation from the BGSU Campus to all Falcon Men's and/or Women's games. Cost is ONLY $25 for members and $35 for guests/others (game ticket not included). Call (419) 372-2401 to reserve your seat on the Falcon Club bus, but don't delay...all reservations MUST be made in advance, and the reservation deadline is Wednesday, March 11.
*The Falcon Men (18-12 Overall, 11-5 MAC) have earned the #1 overall seed, a share of the MAC Regular Season Championship and a First Round bye. They will open play by taking on the Ohio-Western Michigan winner in the Quarterfinal Round on Thursday, March 12. Tipoff is set for 7:00pm at Quicken Loans Arena. Should they advance, their remaining potential tournament schedule would be the 9:30pm Semifinal on Friday, March 13, with the Men's Championship game scheduled for 8:00pm on Saturday, March 14.
*The Falcon Women (26-3 Overall, 15-1 MAC) have earned the MAC East Division's #1 seed, their fifth consecutive outright MAC Regular Season Championship and a First Round bye. They will open play by facing the Akron-Central Michigan winner in the Quarterfinal Round on Friday, March 13. Tipoff is set for 11:00am at Quicken Loans Arena. Should they advance, their remaining potential tournament schedule would be the Noon Semifinal on Saturday, March 14, with the Women's Championship game scheduled for 1:00pm on Sunday, March 15.
*The BGSU Alumni Association will host Pre-Game Rallies two hours prior to the scheduled tip of any BG Men's OR Women's games in the Semifinal & Championship Rounds at the Harry Buffalo (located across the street from the north entrances to The Q). Admission is ONLY $10 and includes an appetizer buffet and non-alcoholic beverages, with a Cash Bar also available. The complete potential Pre-Game Rally schedule would be as follows:
