Falcons Finish 20th at Duramed Collegiate

PLAYER SCORECARDS
The Bowling Green State University women's golf team carded a 330 on the final day of competition at the 2009 Duramed Collegiate Invitational at the Rio Verde to finish 20th with a 54-hole score of 1,001. The 330 was the Falcons' lowest round of the event.
Kansas, who was the day one and day two leader, captured the event with a score of 883. Arkansas-Little Rock (907), Eastern Michigan (914), Toledo (915) and Minnesota (916) rounded out the top five teams.
Top finisher for the Orange and Brown was junior Megan Gormley. After opening with an 84, the junior carded back-to-back sub-80 rounds, firing a 78 on Sunday. Gormley finished in a tie for 64th with a score of 239 (84-77-78).
Twin sisters Marisa and Lauren Glew finished 95th and tied for 97th in the 54-hole event. Marisa carded a 252 (80-86-86), while Lauren shot 254 (84-85-85).
Sophomore Megan Bader had her best round of the three day event, firing an 81 on Sunday. She finished tied for 99th with a score of 256 (91-84-81).
Rounding out the Falcon competitors was junior Hanna Lambert, who finished 101st with a score of 275 (98-88-89).
Up next for the Falcons will be the Bradley Invitational (Apr. 4-5).
