Bowling Green To Host Two High School Games At The Doyt
August 14, 2009 | General
Bowling Green, Ohio – Bowling Green State University has announced that it will host two regular season high school football games at Doyt Perry Stadium during the fall. On Aug. 27, Toledo St. John's will play Findlay at 7 p.m. and on Sept. 4, Clay will play Perrysburg, also at 7 p.m.
“This is another great opportunity to host high school football games on our campus,” Jim Elsasser, BGSU's Associate Athletic Director for Internal Affairs, said. “We have established a great relationship with some Northwest Ohio high schools and continue to build the relationship to offer our facilities to their coaches, student-athletes, and fans.”
The 2009 season begins the third year of Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) regular season and playoff football games at the Doyt – a direct result of the installation of FieldTurf at the stadium.
