Falcon Baseball Back on the Field

Fresh off of completing back-to-back Mid-American Conference regular season championships, head coach Danny Schmitz and the Falcon baseball team are back at the grind to prepare for the 2010 season.
With the team back together and a mission set on achieving a third consecutive championship, Falcon baseball has taken the field for fall practice. Among the 24 returning team veterans, seven new faces can be seen on the diamond at Warren E. Stellar field. Matthew Pitzulo (INF), Andrew Kuns (INF), Patrick O'Brien (RHP), Taylor Rhoades (INF), Nick Bruns (RHP/UTL), Michael Frank (RHP) and Cody Apthorpe (RHP) begin their Falcon careers this season.
The complete 2010 Falcon roster has been finalized and released.
The Falcons finished 2009 with a 28-22 overall record (18-8 MAC) and finished eighth in the nation in team batting average with a .345 mark.
