Keith McLeod Named To Mid-Major All-Decade Team

Bowling Green, Ohio – Former Bowling Green State University men's basketball player Keith McLeod was named to the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major All-Decade Team. McLeod was one of 26 players honored as the best players from mid-major schools in the country from 2000-09.
McLeod played at Bowling Green from 1998-02 and is the Falcons' second-leading scorer all-time with 1,895 career points. In the two seasons of the decade that he competed, McLeod averaged 18.1 points in 2000-01 and 22.9 points in 2001-02. He also ranks as the program's all-time leader in free-throws made in a career (552) and free-throws attempted in a game (27 against Ole Miss on Nov. 15, 2001). He scored a career-high 42 points against Buffalo on Jan. 12, 2002, the 12th highest single-game total in school history and is seventh all-time with 306 career assists. His 176 career steals also rank fourth in the school annals and his 199 career three-pointers are second.
McLeod was the 2002 Mid-American Conference Player of the Year, leading BGSU to the NIT that season, and spent time in the NBA with four teams – the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Utah Jazz, the Golden State Warriors, and the Indiana Pacers.
