The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team will face Miami University in Mid-American Conference Tournament quarterfinal-round action on Wednesday (March 10). The Falcons, the tournament's top seed, will meet eighth-seeded MU at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
MAC TOURNAMENT BRACKET (entering the quarterfinal round)
Miami earned the trip to the quarterfinals with a 67-66 win over ninth-seeded Northern Illinois University on Saturday afternoon (March 6) at MU's Millett Hall.
BGSU will be facing Miami for the second time in as many games. The Falcons closed the regular season with a narrow 63-58 win at Millett on Tuesday (March 2). That victory gave BG a sixth consecutive MAC regular-season title outright.
The Falcons and RedHawks will play in the third game of the afternoon on Wednesday, with tip time tentatively scheduled for 4:00 p.m. The winner of that game will advance to Friday's (March 12) semifinal round. The MAC Tournament championship game is Saturday afternoon (March 13).
