Gymnastics Earns Six NACGC Academic Honors

The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team placed six members of its 2009-10 squad on the National Association of College Gymnastics Coaches Academic team, announced this afternoon (July 20). Mogan Balzer, Amber Brewer, Dawn Christman, Megan Chronister, Monica Eaton and Sunny Marchand each earned the honor.
A total of 509 women's collegiate gymnasts were recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 and student-athletes must have competed in at least 50% (Division I) or 66% (Division II & III) of the college's regularly scheduled competitive meets during the year.
