Falcon Sports Kickoff Set For This Saturday

Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University Athletics Department has announced that the 2010 Falcon Sports Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 28 from 6-8 p.m. at Doyt L. Perry Stadium.
The general public is invited to attend the Falcon Sports Kickoff for an opportunity to meet the student-athletes of BGSU's athletic teams and compete in on-field interactive games that are fun for the whole family. As well, there will be free ice cream (courtesy of Toft's), a free raffle, an opportunity to purchase the official 2010-11 BGSU Athletics Fan T-Shirt from the BGSU Bookstore at a special discounted price, and a photo/autograph session with a variety of BGSU student-athletes.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with the free raffle and on-field interactive stations with BGSU student-athletes and coaches (the stations will conclude at 7:30 p.m.). As well, free ice cream will be distributed near the southeast entrance (gate 14) of Doyt L. Perry Stadium at that time. At 7:15 p.m., BGSU student-athletes will be made available for photographs and autographs.
Due to construction and other events taking place on campus during the evening, recommended parking for the Falcon Sports Kickoff is in lot L (adjacent to the Sebo Athletic Center) and the newly-paved portions of lot 6 south of the stadium.
The event is open to the public but everyone is asked to please RSVP in advance at 419-372-2401.
