Rosales, Penrod Named Papa John's Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Papa John's Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. The first winners for the 2010-11 athletic year are men's soccer goalkeeper Miguel Rosales and volleyball player Paige Penrod.
Male Athlete of the Week
Miguel Rosales, a junior from Aurora, Colo., was named to the all-tournament team at the Davidson adidas Classic after posting 10 saves and a 0.82 goals against average in his first regular-season weekend as a Falcon. Rosales had a shutout in his debut with four saves in the Falcons' 0-0 double overtime tie against Appalachian State and added six saves in a 2-2 draw with host Davidson.
Female Athlete of the Week
Paige Penrod, a freshman from Circleville, Ohio, was named to the all-tournament team at the Campus USA Credit Union Invitational, hosted by the University of Florida. Penrod had a team-high 29 kills on the weekend and hit .221, adding 18 digs and four blocks. She had her first career double-double against Albany, finishing with 11 kills and 10 digs in the match.
