Never Enough Falcon Hockey Talk with Student Online Radio Show

BGSU students and hockey enthusiasts Brian Fisher and Everett Fitzhugh bring more Falcon talk to the airwaves.

If you regretably miss the BGSU Falcon hockey team in action on a given weekend or cannot get enough talk about the Brown and Orange on ice, two BGSU students have taken the lead to bring more Falcon hockey talk to the radio airwaves. Every Sunday night from 7:00 to 8:00 p,m., join Brian Fisher and Everett Fitzhugh for their weekly hockey radio talk show Between the Pipes.

Every Sunday night, studio hosts Brian Fisher and Everett Fitzhugh will recap the weekend's events for the BGSU Falcon hockey team before digging deeper into the hockey world on multiple platforms. The latest news and recaps of action around the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) will also be included in the first half of the show, followed by NHL and further college hockey discussion.
Each week, the show will feature a series of special guests from the BGSU hockey team or other hockey enthusiasts from the BGSU community. Previous student-athletes featured on the show include Brett Mohler, Nick Eno and Andrew Hammond.
Fisher, a Cleveland, Ohio native, brings four years of broadcast experience with the Bowling Green Radio Sports Organization (BGRSO) to the broadcast booth. He has been on the call for a myriad of BGSU athletic events including men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, football and has served as color analyst for various Falcon hockey games over the last two seasons.
Fitzhugh is currently in his second year as "The Voice of Falcon Hockey", serving as the Falcons' play-by-play radio broadcaster. He too, has broadcast a variety of athletic events with the BGRSO in addition to serving as lead broadcaster for the Lake Erie Monarchs baseball team in the summer of 2009.
Both Fisher and Fitzhugh are senior telecommunication majors at the University.
